Mathematical methods for diagnosing breast cancer

(Kaunas University of Technology) The team of researchers at Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania are developing mathematical methods which could help diagnose breast cancer. Applying deep learning method, the researchers are aiming to 'teach' computers to recognize malignant lesions, which would allow at least partially automatize and enhance the accuracy of diagnosing breast cancer.
